Hugo, one of our partners, is passionate about design education and has been teaching at Graphic Design courses in Brazil and Portugal for almost two decades. In 2010, an idea came to life: to create a spreadsheet to help his students understand how to price their design projects. It was the beginning of our pricing spreadsheet, a tool with the mission of demystifying the complexity of design and raising awareness about the true value of our work.
Based on our pricing method at Vínculo, the spreadsheet has evolved over the years, assisting young professionals in various countries in understanding the real value of their design projects.
Until now, this tool has only been available to our students and closest friends. However, we believe it's time to share it with a larger community. That's why we've provided the link to the spreadsheet so that everyone can make a copy and use it.
But why did we decide to distribute the spreadsheet?
To support the design community in three simple ways:
- Simplify Pricing: We want everyone to understand the pricing structure in design projects without needing pre-formatted tables. We want you to feel confident when pricing your work!
- Supporting young Designers: Many young designers face challenges in determining fair prices for their projects. Our spreadsheet is here to guide them.
